"Now is the time to trade in your old down quilt for a high-quality, boxed baffle comforter.Most quilts use sewn-through box construction, which is a cheaper method of containing the down in stitched down squares. Boxed-wall baffles contain the down within four walls, so it cannot migrate outside the baffle. Also, walls are high enough to allow down to reach its full loft, attaining optimum warmth. Outside edges of comforter are boxed with the shell fabric, and both edges are reinforced with piping.
